Lucky Strike

So talking to some teacher out here about this whole bargaining thing for the teacher's contract, is that apparently teacher strike at the end of the year. Now, I'm trying to find the reason behind this. Let's take a look at it. If teacher's strike it should be for a good reason, but I don't want to fuck up a kids education. Let's have the strike at the beginning of the year and just go longer into the summer. Having it at the end of the year makes it so the kids have to be in school or they the district doesn't get the money for a full year of school. So kids come to school and watch movies all day. That's pretty stupid. Plus, graduation gets cancelled, exams are no more (this is a good thing), I don't even know how to do grades. So seriously, the administration needs to come down from their brand new palace in the sky, and the union people need to meet up and work something out. I did the math and they're fighting about 56¢ a day. Not an hour, but a day. That's less than 8¢ an hour. I got higher raises than that when I worked at a movie theatre. If we're gonna strike least do it for something more than that.
