Gmail

I have a few extra Gmail invites for anyone that wants them. I like gmail more than hotmail and yahoo mail, but nothing really competes with the MSU email so far. so give me a email or leave a comment and i'll give you an invite.

Mesothelioma

Don't mind this... just playing with the ads. if you click on i get money. its fun. so go ahead, click on one. or if your feeling lucky, how about two.

Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma, or asbestos cancer, is a terrible disease. The length of time between exposure and the onset of the symptoms hangs over the heads of many people like a life sentence. Personal injury lawyers and attorneys are often derided and condemned, however for the victims of Mesothelioma they may represent the only means of securing the funds to treat the disease or cope with the disabling impact of malignant mesothelioma.

Tuner

Ok, so i stumbled across this little internet radio site. Now I used to just open up shoutcast in winamp and listen to what ever looked good on there. But that was with cable internet. Now I'm using dail-up and that doesn't work so well. In fact, it doesn't work at all. Well at Tuner2 they use a new codec called aacPlus, it's what XM radio uses. but who really cares about that. all i know is that really low bit rates i can stand to listen to it. It's not CD quality or anything, but its pretty good. And I've been listening for about 10 minutes and it has skipped yet. So if you have a slow connection (or not) check it out. Some of the stations are pretty decent.

State bill could cripple P2P

Not a bad article but read this little tid-bit:
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has sought

to ban illegal downloading on any state
computers, including those owned by the
state university systems.

So they're banning stuff that's illegal. Now wait just a minute. So in California, does illegal really mean legal, because i thought when something was illegal, you couldn't do it. Man, maybe I should move there and do some illegal drugs, because last time I checked, they weren't banned.

You can't buy this at IKEA but you can buy something at IKEA to hide it in.
Don't let the children find your rocket ship.

Also, the Japanense do funny things to cats.

And Deena's found her dream job. Well, except for the carnie part.

And lastly, poke the penguin, repeat until something happens. It's a lot like masturbation.

Some good reading

The Right to Read
A good article on what Bill Gates could be thinking of as the perfect society. Eye opening, kinda. I found it amusing while subbing.

Wired 13.01: The Shadow Internet

Wired 13.01: The Shadow Internet
Damn, this is a good article about how all the good free stuff ends up on the those P2P networks. and speaking of P2P, you should check out Shareaza its tons better than anything else i've used. It based on the Gnuettela2 network, but it also does BitTorrents and eDonkey2000. and it doesn't come with and spyware like Kazaa does.
